I have always enjoyed writing short stories, which have appeared in many anthologies.   The two I have chosen here are Smelling of Roses, which was recently in the anthology Dying for It – Tales of Sex and Death, (Thunder’s Mouth Press, New York), and Le Plaisir du Chef from Winter’s Tales (Constable).  

A new story, Love and Death in Renaissance Italy, is published in October 2007 by Serpent’s Tail in the anthology Getting Even.
